About Kelly McIlhargey

Birthplace: I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I grew up in Mount Clemens and Clinton Township.

Residence: I currently live in Clinton Township.

Family: I am the oldest of 3 children and the only girl. I have a dog named Biscuit.

Education: I graduated from L’Anse Cruese Public Schools and I am continuing my education at Macomb Community College.

Occupation: I am Marketing Director and an Administrative Assistant.

What did you think you were going to be growing up? I wanted to be a teacher.

What was your first job? I started babysitting when I was ten but my first “real job” was as a crew member at McDonald’s.

What was your first car? My first car was a Ford Taurus.

Favorites:
TV Show? Currently, my favorite shows are Glee and Bones but Judge Judy and Mr. Bean are two of my all time favorites.
Movie? My favorite movies include “Pulp Fiction”, “Clerks”, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “The Godfather, Parts 1 and 2” and “It’s A Wonderful Life”.
Music? I like many different genres but my favorites include punk and alternative.
Magazines? Mental Floss.
Books? I am currently reading biographies but I enjoy the classics and popular fiction.
Food? Mexican, the spicier the better.
Sports? I like to watch hockey. Go Leafs!
Vacation Spot? Douglas Lake in Cheboygan County, Michigan

What would you like to be doing in 10 years? I would like to still be working in the field of law, traveling on the weekends, and own my own home.

If you were independently wealthy, what would you do with your time & your money? I would travel extensively throughout the United States and Europe. I would also spend more time volunteering for my community.
